Bavarian Barons German Band
Over 30 years ago it was determined that there was a need for a band that played authentic German music in this, the heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Out of that need, the Bavarian Barons German Band was founded. The band’s extensive repertoire features German polkas, waltzes, marches, and folk tunes, plus a mix of American dance and novelty tunes.
Throughout the years, a number of original arrangements have been written specifically for the band. The Bavarian Barons German Band has appeared extensively throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. The band performed for the famous Oktoberfest in Baltimore, Maryland, and many local Oktoberfests and community celebrations.
Made up of all professional musicians, the band always appears in authentic German lederhosen and dress, which adds an authentic feel to any backyard party or event.
