Soul Intent is a versitle band that can play just about any style of music for just about any occasion!  Jazz, Smooth Jazz, R&B, Blues, Pop... are all within their repertoire.   This group of talented musicians has over 100 years of combined musical experience that can turn any occasion into a musical extravaganza.

Tony Diecidue has been playing drums since he was 10 years old. He’s toured this country and Canada in bands that ranged from jazz to rock to disco to country to even Elvis impersonators. In the summer of 2007 & 2008 Tony had the honor to perform along with jazz greats Dave Liebman, Jesse Green and Tony Marino at the St. Luke's Summer Festival in Stroudsburg.  In addition, Tony has played with Blood Sweat & Tears lead singer, Rob Paparozzi and Stevie Wonder guitarist Bill Washer.
 
Don Mayer has been doing live performances for more than thirty years. An extraordinary live performer in many styles including blues, rock, jazz, and country. Don is known as the Tone Master for his ability to achieve exceptional tone through his proficient knowledge of his instrument and equipment. Audiences everywhere are inspired and awed by his talent and musicality. Don has studied with many jazz greats such as Pat Martino and Harry Leahy. He has also performed with such recording artists as Bobby Rydell, Fabian, Jerry Vale, Cesar Diaz, Vic Juris, and Dave Liebman. Don has recently worked with the Mary Hawkins band and Rock Roots, and educational program teaching the history of Rock 'n' Roll to schools in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut. In 2004, Don Mayer and Mary Hawkins were selected by the Lehigh Valley Blues Network to represent them at the International Blues Competition in Memphis, Tennessee. The received great marks and got thru to the third round. Most recently, the Don Mayer Band and Trio appeared at the Stockton Blues Festival with Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Jim Wieder of The Band, and the Queen of the New York City Blues vocalist Roxy Perry.
 
Keyboardist extraordinaire Calvin Blount is a veteran of R&B, Jazz, Blues and anything else “cool”. He has played with the likes of Gloria Gayner and bands like the Ultraband. Not only does he play, but he writes and produces too.
 
Diane Taitt started out with formal vocal training for many years and has been involved in numerous chorus and choir activities throughout her life. She has been singing for over 30 years. She sang with the Fred Waring group for a number of years in the 80’s and sang in wedding, dance and club bands since. She is fluent in many vocal styles that range from jazz to country. She has also donated her time and talent to the Starving Musicians charity efforts. Most recently Diane sang "The Standards" with Dave Liebman, Tony Marino, Jesse Green, Tony Diecidue and Lydia Liebman at the St. Luke's Summer Festival in Stroudsburg.
 
Reggie Woodside has been playing since he could walk. He started playing bass at the age of 13. Attended a specialized Jr. High School for music under the direction of Mr. Nathaniel Phipps. Where they later would perform at the Kennedy Estate, Good Morning America and the Today Show. He would then take his studies further by attending Erasmus Hall H.S.none as the Music and Arts of Brooklyn along with such none artist as; Will Downing, Hubert Eaves III (who plays for Erika Badu), James Williams-aka-D-Train Monique Walker and a host of others in the entertainment industry today. He has worked and recorded with such know industry professionals as: BeBe Winans, Gloria Gaynor, Tremaine Hawkins, Nat Townsley Jr. Cheryl Pepsi Riley, Pat Petrillo, Morace Landy(Sr. V.P. of Atlantic Records),Bow Legged Lu of Full Force, Joe Wilson(M.D. for Byonce),the internationally acclaimed group Mecca Bodega who was featured in a HBO special called Subway Stories.
 
June Thomas is a jazz vocalist/pianist who has played with regional pop and r&b/jazz artist for over twenty years, including PF & the Flyers, Rissmiller/Thomas jazz group , and others. Recently, June's appearances have been in the Philadelphia region, as she is enrolled at the University of the Arts in their MM in Jazz Studies program. She has completed Level I of Somatic Voicework training under instruction by Jeanette LoVetri (2010). As a private voice teacher at the Lesson Center in Bethlehem, PA June has been able to translate her love of singing to others while amassing a supportive following in the Lehigh Valley. Her current jazz group is an exciting hybrid of mainstream jazz and world fusion featuring many original compositions and arrangements. Ms Thomas performs regularly with area bands, including and Nightfall duo with John Sproat, drummer and Nakked Soul, a six-piece funk band based in the Lehigh Valley. She is sought after by local and regional jazz and pop acts as a keyboardist/pianist and vocalist. June has performed with jazz artists such as: Jimmy Heath, Dave Liebman, George Young, Bill Goodwin, Steve Gilmore, Scott Lee, Phil Markowitz, Howie Collins, Duane Eubanks, John Swana, Bootsie Barnes, Jessie Green, and others. She has opened for Joe Henderson, Natalie Cole, and Woody Herman's Thundering Herd. She served as accompanist/contractor for Joan Rivers at the Morristown Community Theatre, Morristown, NJ as well as having toured with the Bobby Vinton Show as his keyboardist/background vocalist. June supplied overdub vocals in the 2001 Miramax Movie release "City on Fire". a Far East production that has been re-released in a English format. This film is currently out on DVD and VHS.
